83, of Amherst formerly of Melrose & Stoneham. Artist, Teacher and Activist, whose positive outlook on life and love of art helped many people to grow and create. Entered Eternal Rest peacefully wrapped in one of her hand-made afghans on March 27, 2012. Devoted wife of the late Robert F. Yaffe. Beloved mother of Hannah Yaffe, Nick & Wendy Yaffe, Deborah Yaffe & Greg Henricks. Cherished grandmother of Elisha, Nathan and Emily Yaffe. Dear sister of Nicodermo Ciccia. Services at the Goldman Funeral Chapel 174 Ferry St. (off Route 60) MALDEN on Friday March 30 at 10:00AM. Interment in Randolph. Following the burial the family will return to Temple Beth Shalom 21 East Foster St. Melrose from 1-3PM for the meal of consolation.
