89, of Medford formerly of Malden. Entered Eternal Rest on March 18, 2015. Ken was a WW II Navy Veteran; a 34 year Member of the Malden Police Department and a Marshall at the U.S. Federal Court House in Boston for 14 years. He was a Past Commander of the D.A.V. Post 85, member of J.W.V. Post 74 and American Legion all of Malden. Devoted husband of Shirley (Tall-Klayman) Altman and the late Ina May (Malatzky) Altman. Beloved father of Alan Altman and Peter Altman. Dear step-father of Sheryl Decker and Susan Steele. Loving brother of Phyllis Katz. Cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Services at the Goldman Funeral Chapel 174 Ferry St. (off Route 60) MALDEN on Sunday March 22 at 11:00 AM. Visitation prior to service from 10-11AM. Interment in Peabody. Condolence calls may be made at his late residence 22 Ninth St. Medford following the interment until 5PM, continuing Monday & Tuesday 3-8PM.
