Condolence: I had the great pleasure to get to know Nancy while I worked at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. She was a very kind, smart, warm, and very accomplished person.

Condolence: My heart and prayers go to the family and friends of Ms. Finkelstein. I was a student of Ms. Finkelstein at LJHS Class of 73. She was an amazing and understanding teacher. Much of her mentoring is still used by me today. I recently joined MHS Alumnai and was overwhelmed when I saw her and a flood of memories overcame me. Ms. Finkelstein may you rest in peace. It was a pleasure to be one of your students and re-connect in our adult life.

Condolence: I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mademoiselle Finkelstein. She was a wonderful person and teacher and I am sincere when I say she was instrumental in my becoming a French [and Spanish] teacher-a career I still have and ironically, now in Malden!
