ELLIOTT- Jordan I.
86, of Boynton Beach, FL. formerly of Lowell. Entered Eternal Rest August 9, 2016. He was President of Lowell Shoe Company, manufacturer of “Nursemates”, the preeminent nursing shoe of the time. The symbol, a Blue Heart, was well known as the mark of quality and style in the industry. An avid sports fan, he held season’s seats for Boston Celtics. One of his prized possessions was a 50th birthday letter, signed by the entire team in 1980, for being such a loyal fan. Beloved husband of 65 years to Barbara (Sherman) Elliott, he was adored by his four children, Tamara Elliott Rogers, Sheryl Elliot Goldberg, Helyse Elliott Long and Scott Elliott, as well by his eight grandchildren, Samuel Rogers, Veronica Everett, David Rogers, Joel Corbett, Carla Corbett, Adam Long, Gregory Long and Joshua Long and his four great granddaughters. He was also the brother of the late Shirley Rubin. Private Services will be held. Condolence calls may be made at the home of Sheryl and Steve Goldberg on Thursday 4-6PM.
