Condolence From: Tivela
Condolence: I just got this (MJS Dec. 2016 notice of Rita passing) today, January 25, 2017. Been having tech issues. Please let know the family know I send my condolences big time. I am very sad to hear of her passing.

Here are some off the top of my head thoughts on Aunt Rita:

The real deal, no B.S. and genuine, with integrity, positivity, and humor.

She always made the best of life, and told great stories, with much family history to share.

When I was a kid I thought she was very glamorous and fun always. Warm and loving.
She had huge furry dogs that my siblings and I met in NH in the winter.
They almost knocked me over as a little girl and really impressed me, and they were treated like royalty.

Interesting story:
Told me she was in Florida years after Sandy died, and met a man who said
that she reminded her so much of his late wife. She went up to his apartment,
saw photos of her, and learned she had died from smoking cigarettes. At the time
she was a smoker. That day she gave up smoking forever. She said, yup, "I never smoked again".

She also shared many stories of Bubbe (Susie Seeche)with me that I had not known and were very interesting.

Favorite phrase she used: "The thing about it is......."

I'm sure there's more....

Blessings to you all.

Condolence: Aunt Rita is my most unforgettable character. Rita looked for the good in all & made the best of every situation. She did not according to her “stand on ceremony.” Enjoy the moment. Learn from yesterday, live for today & hope for tomorrow. Those that knew Rita were privileged.

Condolence: 7 things to remember about R I T A !
(Pls. be sure to share on Friday at the service; am sure she'd appreciate it.)

1. What style - and presence! Not vanilla.

2. H & H - A big heart laced with humor :}

3. Truly a character with character; rare.

4. Direct, no BS, 100% genuine, in a world of phonies, she was the real thing.

5. Ahead of her time- the motorcycles and matching white faux Star Trek jacket!

6. My favorite aunt; bar none.

7. Gone but not forgotten.
