BLANK, Hans "John" of Lexington, MA passed away on January 6, 2017. Beloved husband of Jennie Rae Bush and beloved ex-husband of Dr. Margot Segall Blank. Devoted father of Daniel Blank and his wife Dr. Bess Marcus, and Steven Blank and his wife Rebecca Slisz. Proud grandfather of Brittany, Joshua, and Amber Marcus-Blank and Jordan and Chelsea Blank. He was a kind, caring, intelligent engineer who was devoted to his family and friends and lived life with passion and intensity. Services at Temple Shir Tikvah 34 Vine St. in Winchester on Sunday January 8 at 1:00 pm. Interment at Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. Following interment, Shiva will be held at his son Steven's residence until 7 pm and from 2-3 pm and 5-7 pm on Monday January 9th. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, in memory of John Blank, to support the Pancreas and Billiary Tumor Center, at www.dana-farber.org/gift.
