Alan Morovitz of Salem, NH, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on January 18, 2023, at age 87. Devoted son of the late Barney & Lillian Morovitz. Dear brother of the late Gerald & Barbara Morovitz. Beloved husband of Stephen Fernandes. Loving father of daughters Debra Mackey & her husband Robert, and Taryn Ranieri & her husband Ben, as well as his late son, Barry Morovitz. Cherished “Grandpa” of Talia and Massimo Ranieri. Alan is also survived by his former wife, Shirley Morovitz, as well as several nieces & nephews.

Alan was a kind and generous man who gained the respect of all who knew him. He was greatly loved by his family and close friends and he will be missed by all.

A Memorial Graveside Service will be held on January 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Beth Israel Cemetery 232 Fuller Street, Everett. Condolence calls may be made following the interment from 1-6PM at the home of Ben & Taryn.
