Arthur A. Smith, 84 of Beverly, formerly of Malden, Entered Eternal Rest on December 28, 2022. He was founder of the Art Smith Orchestra. Born in Chelsea, son of the late Ann (Barron) & Ralph Smith. He was the devoted husband of Grace (Jodoin) Smith; beloved father of Denise & her husband Peter Rae and Francis & his wife Julie Dunn; adored grandfather of Kelly Rae, Peter Rae, Jr, Francis Jr & his wife Erin Dunn, and Cameron Arthur Dunn; and cherished great grandfather of Connor Patterson, Bridget Patterson, Charlotte Dunn and Thomas Dunn. Dear brother of late Iris (Smith) Francis and brother-in-law of Joseph Francis.
Services at Forest Dale Cemetery 150 Forest Street, Malden on Friday December 30 at 12 Noon. Memorial week will be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Disabled American Veterans www.dav.org.
