There was nobody like him. I worked for him in Boston in the 80's and he left an indelible image in my mind and heart. Nobody was more fun, more brilliant and kinder than this man.

Despite the 50-year difference in our ages, keeping up with Uncle Burt’s energy was always a challenge. Uncle Burt’s thirsts for living, humor, and storytelling were unmatched and I will miss these qualities most. At some point in my late teens, I visited Uncle Burt at his office in Boston. We walked on a path by Trinity Church and he shook hands with countless friends and acquaintances. Over lunch, I observed a gregarious man in his element, heard countless stories and gained a cherished memory.

Sending love to all, especially Aunt Evelyn and Cousin Jody.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have had such an amazing uncle.Burt was a huge personality who possessed an unmatched wit combined with a genuine love of life. Everyone who had the good fortune of making his acquaintance soon realized just how endearing of a person Burt truly was.I will always love him and miss him terribly.

My sincerest condolences and love to Aunt Evelyn and Cousin Jody.
