Cynthia (Steinberg) Gold 83, Entered Eternal Rest on May 6, 2020 surrounded by family after a long illness. Born and raised in Lawrence, Mrs. Gold was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in education. Mrs. Gold lived in Andover for 22 years, Boca Raton 32 years and York, ME for the past 2 years. She was the devoted wife of Bernard Gold, with whom she worked in the family business, White St. Paint and Wallpaper Co. Inc. She was the beloved mother of Ira & Lesley Gold, Dana Messina, Stacy & Dave Trask and the late Audrey Gold. Cherished grandmother of Taylor & Devon Gold, Matthew & Lindsey Messina, Morgan Messina, Alex Messina, Madison Trask and Max Trask. Proud great grandmother of Grace, Isla, Mabel and Ava Messina. She was also the dear sister of the late Michael Steinberg & his surviving wife Josene Steinberg. Due to the current conditions and restrictions, graveside services were private.
