Obituary for Helen Bloom (Ginsberg)
Helen (Ginsberg) Bloom, 94, lifelong resident of Beverly entered eternal rest on Thursday September 19, 2019. Born in Beverly, daughter of the late Isadore & Lena (Fladger) Ginsberg, Helen was a preschool teacher working for over 25 years at Mrs. Alexander’s School in Beverly. She was also an active member of Temple B’nai Abraham, a life member of the Temple Sisterhood, as well as a life member of Hadassah.
She is survived by her devoted sons Ken & his wife Patti Bloom and Lee & his wife Cindy Bloom; adored grandmother of Jaclyn & her husband Dan, Allison, and Rebecca; and cherished great grandmother of Jacob and Jordan. She was the dear sister of the late Irene Jacobs, Richard Ginsberg, Harris Ginsberg, and Charlotte Goldman.
Services will be held at the Sons of Abraham Cemetery 18 Cole Street (off Route 22), Beverly on Monday, September 23 at 2:00 PM. Memorial week will be observed privately. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, www.parkinson.org or Alzheimer’s Disease Research: 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg MD 20871.
