Obituary for Honey Lee (Angell)
Honey Angell Lee passed away on December 26, 2023. Honey was born on February 6, 1948 and grew up in Rochester, New York. She was a 1966 graduate of Brighton High School and a graduate of Emerson College. While a theater major at Emerson, she met fellow student, Bart Lee, whom she married in 1971.
Honey’s lifelong passions were animals, especially cats, and the theater. She was a volunteer with Quannapowitt Players as an actress, board member and chairperson. Honey worked in customer service at the Stoneham Theater and retired in 2019.
Honey is preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Irma Angell, her husband Bart Lee, and her nephew Joel Herzig. She is survived by her loving brother and sister-in-law Charles and Sandra Angell and her sister and brother-in-law Andrea and Edward Herzig. Surviving also are her nieces and nephews, Aaron (Lauren) Herzig, Leah (Mark) Palyo, Jordan (Laura) Angell and Elizabeth Rose. And by her great nieces and nephews Emma, Lila and Rachel Herzig, Vivian and Reuben Sievers and Wesley and Cameron Angell.
Funeral services will be held at Temple Emmanuel Cemetery Lakeside Avenue at 492 North Avenue, Wakefield on Sunday February 4 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to an animal welfare charity or charity of the donor’s choice.
