Ina was a retired Registered Nurse. Devoted wife of the late Lawrence Cherkas. Beloved mother of Lauren Cherkas and Neal Cherkas & his wife Melanie McShane. Cherished sister of Louis & his wife Leslie Berman. Loving daughter of the late Robert & Anna Berman. Dear sister-in-law of Rhoda Nichaman and Florence Andler. Proud aunt of many nieces nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Services will be held at the Lebanon-Tiferet Shalom Cemetery on Route128 North (between Route 114 & Endicott St. Exits) Peabody on Tuesday August 10 at 10:00 AM. Due to the current covid conditions, memorial week will be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be donated to Temple Tiferet Shalom 489 Lowell St. Peabody, MA 01960.
