To Althea, Alex and Julia,
Mark: For over 22 years we have shared our homes, our children, our dinners, our parties, and other portions of our lives. It was only fitting that we were both there with you on Tuesday. We will cherish every one of those 22 years. We will miss you dearly, our good neighbor and friend.

We may not have personally known Mark, however working and sharing with his "life love" Althea over the years, it was always touching and refreshing how much his family loved this smart and kind faced man. Huge loss to this world and his family/friends. My heart goes out to all of you and may you find the strength to take him on your adventures, as he will be with you in spirit forever. Healing Prayers, Deb Sacco

I first met Mark in high school also as a member of Alpha Mu. Through the years he helped me out with advice when I was going through some rough times.
I will miss his compassion, wit, wisdom and the ability to be a good listener through the years. My sympathies to Althea and family. He was a good friend.

I first met Mark in the seventh grade at Lincoln Junior High School, and have kept in touch ever since. We belonged to a group of kids who belonged to a Jewish Fraternity in High School called Alpha Mu Alpha. We went through the 60's together which was a wild wonderful ride in Malden that I have looked back on fondly ever since.About 20 years ago Mark reached out to me to invite me to meet up with him and other veterans of that era in Montreal,Quebec City,Maine,Boston etc once a year. I was fortunate enough to attend a bunch of those annual events , traveling from the west coast, where we would share stories about our personal version of things long past. When my mother passed away Mark was kind enough to come to the service to wish me well I so appreciated that gesture. My prayers go out to Althea and the family he is gone to soon from this earth.
We just celebrated the 50th birthday of the moonlanding and the topic of where you were came up .I was hitchhiking back from a visit to a little muddy farm in New Hampshire that Mark and a bunch of others were trying to exist on and run. He will be missed

There is a hole in my heart right now. Mark was one of my oldest and dearest friends. We lived around the corner from each other in Malden when we were children, and we played together, went through school together, and became life-long fraternity brothers of Alpha Mu. Mark was certainly a brilliant man, but, more important, he was one of the wisest and most compassionate persons I have ever known. My deepest condolences to Althea, Alex and Julia and your entire family. We will miss him so very much.
