PAUL J. STOLLER of Brooklyn, New York City, and Lexington Mass. Entered Eternal Rest July 29, 2020 to join his wife Sandra, the love of his life and constant companion at home and around the world. Paul was born in Brooklyn on April 10, 1942, to Helen and Louis Stoller.
Paul’s interest in the environment lead him to study Environmental Engineering at CCNY and SUNY at Stony Brook. He spent over 40 years consulting for governments to structure public/private partnerships. Paul was a Vice President and thirty-year employee at CDM Smith. Paul then did outside consulting with CDM Smith and with his own clients.
Paul engaged in providing practical, environmentally conscious programs for all types of technologies including water and wastewater treatment facilities, solid waste recycling, composting, land fill and waste-toenergy facilities and the purchase of electricity for all step of the above. He provided every step from proposals, though negotiations, construction, operation and service agreements throughout the United States and around the world.
Paul is survived by his many loving family members including his brother Dan, nephews Sam, Ted wife Andrea, grandniece Ariana, and many wonderful cousins, their spouses and offspring. He also leaves behind many local friends in Lexington, especially Gail who was at his bedside to comfort him daily.
Paul chose to be cremated and his cremains will remain at Goldman Funeral Chapel until such time as his wish to be scattered at sea can be safely accomplished. Paul and Sandra spent many great trips around the world, a few to name were India, Egypt and China. Paul left us with the knowledge that “since he had been with Sandra he never had a bad day”!
