Retha was born in Worcester, loving daughter of the late Esther (Millman) & Irving Solomon. She was a graduate of Beverly School for the Deaf.
Retha was the devoted wife of Leo Almeida; the dear sister of the late Joel Solomon; adored aunt of Steven Solomon & his wife Amy Solomon, Jody Gaucher her husband Mike Gaucher, Jeffrey Solomon, and Lianne Riley & her husband Kevin Riley; and grandaunt of Sarah Solomon, Nikki Gaucher, Danny Solomon and Kaci Gaucher.
