LANDER- Ruth (Hodes)
87, of Framingham and Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Worcester. Entered Eternal Rest on Friday October 6, 2023 after a brief illness. Ruth was predeceased by Robert her beloved husband of 59 years and parents Abe & Denah (Fine) Hodes and brother Stephen Hodes. She leaves behind her devoted daughters, Heidee & spouse Suz, Kim and Traci. Ruth’s greatest joys were her family and friends and she delighted in every opportunity to gather. She loved nothing more than hosting a good party, which ranged from Jewish holiday celebrations to Superbowls. she was a world traveler, and especially enjoyed cruising. When not roaming she could be found reading, participating in book clubs, playing mah jongg and watching her Red Sox. Graveside Services at Bnai Brith Cemetery 55 St. John’s Road, Worcester on Sunday October 15 at 1:00 PM. Condolence calls may be made at the Framingham residence following burial until 8PM, Monday & Tuesday 1-4 and 6-8. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Jewish Family Services of MetroWest, Framingham or the Arthritis Foundation.
