Obituary for Sidney Zaidman
Sidney Zaidman, 93, of Peabody, Entered Eternal Rest on February 17, 2022.
He was the devoted husband of Joan (Rain) Zaidman; beloved father of Glenn Zaidman & his partner Veronica Kugelman, Kerry & her husband Edward Berman, and Nancy & her husband Paul Cowen; adored grandfather of Joshua and Erica Zaidman, Jessica and Kyle Warren, Jonathan and Lori Berman, Jacqueline Berman & Jordan Glicksman, David Cowen, Gillian Cowen & Danny Mercurio. He was the treasured great grandfather of Ellery & Macy Zaidman, Tillie, Hazel, & Archer Warren, and Zoe Glicksman; and dear brother of the late Elaine Gomes.
Sidney was born in Holyoke, son of the late Bernard & Gertrude Zaidman. He served honorably in the Army during the Korean Conflict and had a long career in the printing industry. He and Joan moved to Peabody to raise their family. Sidney was a Mason and longtime member of Jordan Lodge. After retiring they spent many happy years in Florida where Sidney learned to golf and worked in the woodshop creating beautiful wood carvings for his family.
Services will be private. Condolence calls may be made at Spinelli’s Lynnfield, Route 1 South, Lynnfield/Peabody line on Sunday February 20 from 12-3PM (masks are required when not eating). In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Temple Tiferet Shalom c/o Raise the Roof Fund 489 Lowell Street, Peabody, MA 01960.
