MEGALAITIS- Stacey R. (Burak)
52 of Merrimack, NH. Entered Eternal Rest on June 26, 2022, after 6 years battle with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. She leaves behind a legacy of an indominable spirit with positive outlook and complete selfless love. Embracing life to the fullest, Stacey saw the beauty in each day. Despite the challenges of her illness, she faced every moment with humor, enthusiasm and energy.
Born and raised in Canton, MA, Stacey was a graduate of Canton High School and Southern New Hampshire University. Stacey enjoyed a career in marketing at Cabletron, Reebok and Bittware. Her most beloved role was that of wife and mother. Stacey and the love of her life, her husband Mark, married in 1995 and settled in Merrimack, NH, where they raised their 3 amazing children. Some of Stacey’s favorite times were spent on family road trips and vacations at Disney World.
Stacey volunteered for many organizations including Merrimack Friends and Family, Merrimack Cardinals Sports Teams, and the local school district. Through her kindness and generosity, she forged many lasting friendships.
Devoted wife of Mark D. Megalaitis. Proud mother of Austin, Logan, and Alyssa Megalaitis. Beloved daughter of Harriet (Goldman) & the late Albert Burak and daughter-in-law of Auguste & the late Heinz Megalaitis. Dear sister of Michelle & Andrew Langmead, the late Michael Burak & Sister-in-law of Nancy & John Doyle and Kim & Karl Megalaitis. Cherished aunt of Samantha Langmead, Abbie Langmead, Ashley Doyle, Nicholas Doyle, Ryan Megalaitis and Bryce Megalaitis. Stacey also leaves countless friends and relatives.
Services will be held at the Schlossberg Memorial Chapel 824 Washington St. Canton on Wednesday June 29 at 12:00 Noon. Interment in Sharon. Condolence calls may be made at the home of Harriet Burak following the burial until 5PM, also from 7-9PM and Thursday. from 1-4 PM and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be donated to Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma Research PO Box 442 Needham, MA 02494 or Merrimack Home Health & Hospice Care 7 Executive Park Drive Merrimack, N.H. 03054.
