Condolence: I am so sad to hear of Gary's passing. He was an important person in my life for many years, a mentor and friend. I learned so much from him at Lincoln Hill, and his confidence in me and support truly changed my life. Gary was a powerful presence, witty, intelligent and deeply committed to the values of social justice. I remember many intense conversations in Foxboro, at Nichol's House and on Ellery Street. I am truly grateful for Gary's influence in my life.
May the memories of his love and of all the good times bring you comfort.
Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. I worked with him at the Waisman Center for 10+ years and was very proud to be part of his research on aging and developmental disabilities. My work with Gary led to a research career spanning over 25 years at UW Madison for which I will always be grateful.
