Victor was a friend and mentor. He was an artist on the milling machine. Chips would fly all over and the finished piece would emerge ,accurate,functional and beautiful. At staff meetings Victor would sit quietly during debate and then deliver a one liner that would bring out laughter for everyone and ease the tension.
