Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Burton Shepard can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

SHEPARD, Burton 82 of Swampscott entered eternal rest August 31, 2016. Husband of the late Rebecca (Epstein) and Joyce (Rood). Beloved father of Stacy & Robert Sherman, Scott & Jill Shepard, and Paul & Vanessa Shepard. Adored grandfather of Julie, Brian & Jackie, Jennifer, Samantha, Elan and Stefan. Cherished great grandfather of Abby and Isaac. Dear brother of Sandra Sudikof and Phillip Shepard. Services at Congregation Shirat Hayam 55 Atlantic Avenue, Swampscott on Friday September 2 at 11:00 AM. Interment at Shirat Hayam (T. Israel) Cemetery, Peabody. Condolence calls may be made at the home of Paul & Vanessa Shepard on Friday following the interment and Saturday from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Shepard Scholarship Fund c/o Congregation Shirat Hayam 55 Atlantic Avenue Swampscott, MA 01907.
